The Season Begins!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Here’s “the wall of Christmas cards” in the studio 🙂

We are coming up on September and already things are coming together for a great holiday card season! Last year, I introduced the template cards and they were a big success (I think I photographed around 7-10 of those). This year, I’m adding the NYC card to the template selection. It’s our card from last year, and I think it would be a great template image!

November is shaping-up to be super crazy, as I’ve got some travel plus a booth again this year at the Junior League “A Christmas Affair” show. So, I will be running a special promotion for any family that shoots their card prior to 11/1/2017:

If we photograph your family’s card before November 1st, you’ll get a free 20″x30″ canvas of your final image, ready to hang!

This special offer applies only to custom Christmas cards (not template images). Wouldn’t it be great to be done with your Christmas card by November? Get in touch with me via the contact page to get a PDF with all of the details!

And be sure to follow my Christmas card Instagram account @austinchristmascards (new this year) for all of the latest! I’ve posted a ton of cards there, along with several behind-the-scenes/making-of photos too. And on Facebook, I’m easy to find at www.facebook.com/austinchristmascards .

When families mail me a card, it goes up in the phone booth!

This is the second win in a row for this family which is incredible! I’m so excited to see what we create in 2017.
Thanks to all of you for voting and taking the time to look through some of the work I created in 2016. Shooting these images each year is a ton of fun and something I look forward to. It’s hard to believe that in just 2 years I will celebrate 10 years of creating Christmas cards.
And as Santa says in “Elf”, now it’s time to start planning for next Christmas! 🙂

New Template Images Posted!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

I’ve just posted two new templates in the Ready-To-Go templates section!

We Love Christmas So Much – I can place your family into this iconic Austin landmark scene! The text on the wall can read your family name, or a cheerful greeting like “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays”!

Red and Green – I can put you into the light display near the Long Center, with a great view of downtown!

It’s Getting To Be That Time :)

img_0054October is a week away! It’s hard to believe. I distinctly remember thinking ‘this was going to be a great summer with the kids’ way back in May, and now we are already 1 month into school!

2016 Christmas card sessions are already in full-swing. I finished one session this week and I’ve got a few sprinkled throughout October. I did take some time today though to get the studio ready for the upcoming sessions!

If you’ve been thinking about creating a fun holiday card this year, now would be a great time for us to connect. I’m running a special promotion where those who shoot prior to 11/1 get a free 20″x30″ canvas of their final image! To get a PDF which has all of the package details, reach out to me via the contact page and we can talk more!

The New Christmas Card Website is Live!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

I’m excited to announce the launch of the brand-new Christmas card website! I love the fact that I can now provide more info on past cards, including video/behind-the-scenes info. Here’s a sample. This also marks the first time a blog has been included on the website. And a store is coming shortly, with some custom holiday artwork I’ve been working on!

Looking at the portfolio, I have 40 images there that I’ve created for clients. If you had asked me a few years ago if I would have done that much holiday work, I would have said no way!

Check out everything and let me know what you think. And if you decide that a custom Christmas card is just what you need this year, use the contact form to get in touch.
